NYC and the Gallon Challenge

February and March have been insane.  Chicago to Champaign to St. Louis to Springfield to New York to Rockford and back to Normal for a while.  Lots of work and fun tho.  Here is a not so brief recap.

Rockford, IL: Maria's Italian Restaurant .  We were there shooting a hockey tournament.

Awesome.

The basketball court was ruined.

MVC Agony

We left on friday morning for the MVC tournament in St. Louis.  ISU was seeded 3rd.

We ate delicious burritos.

We checked into our hotel.

Swimming!

Media dinner.

I had to sit in a 2 by 3 ft square with my name on it.

ISU beat Evansville and we advanced.

Katie (middle) did a great job!

Then we played Creighton.

This dunk was number 6 on ESPN's Countdown!

We crushed them and we advanced to the Championship against UNI!

ISU came out cold and we were trailing at halftime.

Osiris Eldridge went off in the second half, I think he made 4 three pointers in a row.

Even after the huge comeback, we lost by 3 in overtime.

We got robbed.  I don't think I'll want to watch basketball for a while.  

Next year we're winning it all.

Good news: I'm going to New York City on Saturday!!  I've never been there, but expect a lot of touristy pictures!!
